Usually an antibiotic is prescribed for a period of one week in order to greatly reduce the risk of infection during the phase of bone healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This treatment is preventive and should be started the day before surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For more comfort after surgery, we recommend taking an anti-inflammatory medication\u00a0one hour before surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
