About the intervention
Wisdom teeth are the third molars of the jaw, which usually grow behind the last visible teeth at the very back of the mouth.
They develop during adolescence and erupt around the age of 20 when their position allows it.
Unfortunately, very few people have enough room to erupt their wisdom teeth in an optimal position for chewing.
These teeth are often a source of complications (infections, pain, cavities, damage to adjacent teeth), and if they are extracted early enough, before their roots have fully developed, most of these problems can be avoided.
