About the intervention

Accidents involving the face are traumatic not only physically but also psychologically.

The management of such trauma must be carried out by specialists with considerable experience in this field.

Maxillofacial surgery requires several years of training in hospitals, often on the front lines.

Dr. Nathalie Portier-Marret has been widely trained in this field and has regularly attended continuing education seminars to be at the forefront of osteosynthesis technology.

She is approved and accredited in several hospitals in the region (Cliniques Hirslanden, Providence, CIC Clarens, La Prairie), which are equipped with the technical platform necessary to manage fractures of the face under optimal conditions.

The medical team on site also allows for a post-operative follow-up and management of trauma of the face including:

  • Fractures of the facial bones (zygomatic arches, orbits, nose and cheek bones)
  • Facial lacerations
  • Intra-oral wounds
  • Dental avulsion or dislocation with alveolar fractures
  • Jaw fractures (upper or lower)
